Directivity
The Treble GA solver can model the directional characteristics of sources. Currently, directivity is represented by magnitude only, per octave band, for both the Image-Source method (ISM) and the Ray-Radiosity (RR) solver.
In the ISM, directivity is considered for each reflection path, where the response of the source in a specific direction is generated using an octave band-filtered frequency response.
For the RR solver, energy is traced in octave bands, and directivity is accounted for by scaling the energy when radiosity rays are created, based on their initial direction.
