Measuring a device in a virtual lab facility

In this example from our feature webinar in May 2025 we demonstrate how to first simulate AR glasses on a mannequin and then importing them in to a virtual laborarty for testing. The virtual lab has multiple loudspeaker placed around the mannequinn. The mannequinn with AR glasses is rendered in to the simulation using our device modeling approach.

Create the DRTF for the smartglasses
Setting up the free field simulation for the DRTF generation
Add the free field definition and start the simulation
Download the results and add the DRTF to the organization device library
Now lets setup a test scenario with an empty room and three sources around the device
Apply materials to all surface layers
Setup the sources and receievers in the model
setup the simulation and plot for final visualization and validation
Add the simulation to the project and start running it in the cloud
Download the results to a local folder
Render a device response from the spatial IRs for all the sources in the simulation
Load audiofiles and auralize
