Exporting a geometry from Rhino
When you import NURBS from Rhinoceros, the level of detail of the simulated mesh follows Rhino's display mesh settings. Make a copy of the file and join all the surfaces before you save the file for device import. The mesh then accounts for intersections between parts.
Device geometry sizing
This example illustrates how to use a complex geometry for device import, controlling mesh detail at different levels of the model.
Import device geometries from SolidWorks
SolidWorks is a CAD tool for designing products, mechanical parts and assemblies. It keeps the geometry at full precision in one file.
Import device geometries from AutoCAD
AutoCAD is one of many CAD modeling tools used to build geometry assemblies made of different parts. Other tools include Rhinoceros, SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion and CATIA.
Using devices in simulations
Once a device has been added to the device library,
Simulate a multi-driver loudspeaker
This tutorial covers a complete workflow for simulating a two-way loudspeaker
Loudspeaker sizing
This tutorial explains how to control the mesh sizing of a sound-emitting object, such as a loudspeaker with a membrane, in a room simulation.
Smart glasses on a mannequin
This tutorial takes a pair of smart glasses from a closed mesh to a device simulation on a head from the mannequin library. It works the same for other things you wear on the head. You need a Treble SDK license and the device as one closed mesh.
