SketchUp

The Treble main GUI resides in your web-browser (e.g. Chrome) and is “live-linked” to SketchUp via a plug-in (extension) that must be installed in SketchUp. Treble uses the Geometrical entities of the 3D model as input for the simulation and analysis of room acoustics. We recommend running Treble Acoustic Simulation Suite on Google Chrome.

SketchUp 2024

We have identified that the Treble plugin is currently not functioning with the first released version of SketchUp 2024 (build number 24.0.484, which you can find in the menu Help > About SketchUp).

This issue has been identified, reported to SketchUp and their team was able to find the cause of problem. The issue will be fixed in the next version of SketchUp 2024, expected to be released late May or in June.

In the meantime you have two possible workarounds:

  1. Using SketchUp 2024:
  • Export your model as an AutoCAD DXF file in the menu File > Export > Export 3D model
  • Import it directly in Treble web app
  1. Using SketchUp 2023 (download it here):
  • Save your model in SketchUp 2024
  • Open it with SketchUp 2023
  • Use the plugin to import the model into Treble
